Khmer friends gave me a teacher that was not competent to answer the more technical questions, and also had a very nasally voice that made it difficult to hear the differences in some of the sounds. In here written phonetics she wrote words incorrectly that made it impossible to link back to the Khmer alphabet. The initial stages you can do by yourself with a translator and some discipline. The teacher does not add much value. I pointed this out to Admin immediately and asked for credit for the classes. She did not want to give me credit. But agreed to carry it over for one month. I have terminated my relationship with this company because they were not able to give me the flexibility that I need. I would recommend that you ask for an initial class before you pay the $20 deposit and then pay money for all the books. Make sure that you are happy with their style before you commit.
